When you mount a magnified optic on a rifle built around a Magpul MOE or CTR stock, the standard comb height rarely puts your eye where it needs to be. The result is a strained neck position and inconsistent cheek placement that works against repeatable accuracy. The Magpul Cheek Riser in Flat Dark Earth solves that mismatch by raising the comb half an inch, which is typically enough to bring your eye into proper alignment with a low-to-mid-mounted scope without requiring a separate aftermarket stock.

The riser is made from polymer and attaches directly to the existing stock without tools, using the MOE and CTR stocks’ integrated mounting points. Because it works with the stock’s own geometry, there is no slop or independent movement once it is seated. Flat Dark Earth matches the standard FDE finish Magpul uses across its stock lineup, so the assembled rifle looks intentional rather than cobbled together.

One compatibility point worth understanding before ordering: this riser positions itself where the charging handle on an AR-platform rifle travels. On an M14-pattern carbine conversion or other non-AR builds using a MOE or CTR stock, that is not an issue. On a direct-impingement AR, the riser physically conflicts with charging handle operation, so it is not the right fit for that platform. If your build is non-AR, the half-inch lift addresses a real ergonomic problem cleanly, without adding bulk to the length of pull or requiring permanent modification to the stock.
