Description

The HBPDW was designed by Q and adapted from the Honey Badger Pistol Stabilizing Brace for the AR-15 lower receiver. Where the original Honey Badger brace was purpose-built around Q’s proprietary platform, the HBPDW brings that same PDW-style folding and collapsing concept to standard mil-spec AR lowers and bolt carrier groups, so shooters who are already invested in the AR ecosystem can access the same compact form factor without rebuilding around a different platform.

The brace adjusts through three positions, which lets the shooter dial in a consistent point of contact against the forearm regardless of body mechanics or the amount of kit being worn. That adjustability also means the overall package length changes meaningfully between positions rather than offering only a marginal difference. An integral ambidextrous QD sling socket is built into the assembly, so attachment points do not depend on add-on hardware or aftermarket adapters. The complete assembly ships with a buffer, spring, buffer tube, and castle nut with wrench, meaning the installation is self-contained and does not require sourcing additional buffer components separately.

At sixteen ounces, the HBPDW keeps the rear of the build light, which matters when the goal of a compact pistol build is a total package that stays maneuverable.
