Description

The Magpul Rubber Butt-Pad, 0.30″ is a direct-fit replacement and upgrade pad designed for shooters who want a more secure and comfortable cheek-to-stock interface on their Magpul carbine stock. It comes standard on Mil-Spec CTR and MOE carbine stocks, as well as the STR, ACS-L, and ACS models, so if you already run one of those stocks you know exactly what this pad feels and handles like. It can also be fitted to Commercial-Spec MOE and CTR stocks, though doing so may prevent the stock from reaching its fully collapsed position — worth considering before you buy if you regularly shoot with the stock fully in.

The pad is made from firm rubber rather than a softer foam or gel compound. That firmness is a deliberate trade-off: it prioritizes a consistent, non-slip shoulder contact surface over cushioning, keeping the rifle planted during rapid target transitions rather than letting the butt shift or bounce. The 0.30″ thickness adds a modest amount of length of pull without meaningfully changing the stock’s handling profile. It is not compatible with the MOE Fixed Carbine Stock.
