Description

The Magpul DT-PR Carbine Stock is built for shooters who want a stable, wobble-free platform on a mil-spec buffer tube without stepping up to a fixed or chassis-style stock. The core of the design is Magpul’s patent-pending Dual-Tension adjustment system, which applies tension across the full length of pull rather than at a single point of contact. The practical result is that the stock sits tight against the buffer tube throughout its travel, eliminating the lateral and vertical slop that develops in standard single-latch carbine stocks over time and with repeated length-of-pull changes.

The Precision Rifle variant adds a front strap hand-rest, giving the support hand something to push against when shooting from barricades or positional field stages without the rifle mounted in a bag. The underside of the stock extends rearward to function as a bag rider when you do have the rifle rested, maintaining a consistent contact point with the bag rather than requiring the shooter to balance the action. The cheek weld area is contoured and shaped to reduce skin and beard snagging — a detail that matters on rapid repositioning strings of fire. A non-slip rubber buttpad seats the stock firmly in the shoulder pocket. The single ambidextrous lever controls both tension cams, so adjustments require no technique change for right- or left-handed shooters. The stock also accepts CTR Cheek Risers and is compatible with the MOE SL Enhanced Butt-Pad for shooters who need additional length of pull. Finished in Flat Dark Earth.
