Description

The Magpul ESK (Enhanced Selector Kit) is a modular, ambidextrous safety selector designed for shooters who want to configure their AR-pattern lower exactly the way they run it. The kit ships with three polymer levers — full-length, short, and hybrid — so you can mix and match based on how your hand meets the rifle and whether you prefer a traditional reach or a more compact profile. The full-length lever on the support-side gives your off hand a natural surface to actuate the selector without breaking grip, which is the core argument for running an ambidextrous safety in the first place.

The steel axle is reversible and indexes at either 60 or 90 degrees of throw. The 60-degree option shortens the arc your thumb travels to move between safe and fire, which matters when your grip is tight and speed is the priority. The 90-degree position matches the standard mil-spec geometry, so there is no relearning if you rotate between rifles. Either way, the axle is machined from heat-treated chromoly steel with a QPQ finish for corrosion resistance.

Lever attachment uses a selector pin rather than set screws, which eliminates the possibility of a fastener backing out under recoil. Swapping levers requires nothing more than a punch to remove the pin — no other tools involved. The kit also includes a detent and spring with a low-friction coating, so you have everything needed for a complete installation. Fits mil-spec AR-pattern lower receivers. Made in the USA.
