Description

The Magpul GL Enhanced Magazine Well is built for shooters who run a Gen4 Glock in competition, training, or carry roles and want faster, more consistent magazine insertions without adding bulk to the grip. The enlarged funnel opening guides a magazine into the well even under stress or in low light, which matters most when a reload needs to happen quickly and without deliberate precision.

The reinforced polymer construction keeps weight gain negligible, so the balance of the pistol stays close to what you have trained with. That also keeps the external profile slim enough that the magwell does not dramatically increase printing when the gun is carried concealed — a compromise that a heavier, larger metal magwell typically forces you to accept. The ramp geometry is shaped to work with standard-capacity Glock factory magazines, Magpul GL magazines, and most aftermarket floorplates and extensions. Some reduced-capacity factory magazines differ dimensionally and may cause fitment issues, and very large aftermarket extensions may not clear the housing.

Installation is straightforward and requires no permanent modification to the pistol. One important fitment note: the magwell is not compatible with Glock’s factory backstraps installed. If you run the pistol bare-grip, it drops into place cleanly. Compatibility covers Gen4 frames in the G17, G22, G31, G34, G35, and G37 configurations — the same full-size and competition-frame footprint that shares a common grip profile across those models.
