Description

The Magpul Barricade Stop gives a shooter a fixed, reliable contact point when bracing against cover — a door frame, a vehicle hood, a concrete ledge — so that the support hand stays consistent and the muzzle doesn’t wander between shots. That kind of repeatable interface matters in any environment where you’re working from improvised positions rather than a bench or bipod.

The body is polymer, keeping weight and profile low on the handguard, while the contact surface is a hardened steel insert that has been QPQ salt bath nitrided. That process produces a surface hard enough to bite into wood, metal, or painted concrete without skating, and it resists corrosion from rain, sweat, and field conditions. The insert is slightly curved rather than flat, which lets it conform to rounded surfaces like a pipe or a vehicle pillar and maintain edge contact rather than rocking on a single point.

Mounting is straightforward M-LOK attachment, so the stop indexes directly to the rail slots rather than clamping around the outside of the handguard. That keeps it from shifting under lateral load, which is exactly the load a barricade stop sees in use. It also functions as a forward hand stop for shooters who run a thumb-over-bore grip and want a hard reference point for the support hand.
