Description

The Magpul MVG mounts directly to M-LOK slots on aluminum or polymer handguards, eliminating the need for a Picatinny rail adapter and keeping the overall package lighter and lower-profile. The grip’s compact, vertical geometry positions the support hand closer to the bore centerline, which reduces torque on the rifle during recoil and makes sweeping between targets more consistent — particularly useful in any shooting style that relies on the support arm pulling rearward against the handguard rather than pushing outward.

The MVG is specifically shaped for the thumb-break grip method, where the thumb wraps over the front of the handguard rather than curling around the grip itself. That technique naturally suits the shorter, rounder profile here, though the grip functions equally well for shooters who prefer a conventional vertical hold. At 1.4 ounces with hardware, it adds effectively nothing to the rifle’s weight.

Magpul’s TSP texture covers the grip surface along with front and rear serrations, giving the support hand something to hold through wet or cold conditions without requiring gloves. All mounting hardware is included, and installation uses the standard M-LOK slot system — no tools beyond a wrench or bit are needed.
