Description

The Magpul MVG is a foregrip built for shooters who want a positive purchase on their handguard without adding unnecessary bulk or cost. It mounts directly to M-LOK slots on aluminum or polymer handguards and forends, so there is no need to run a separate Picatinny rail section underneath it — the grip threads straight into the M-LOK interface and locks down with the included hardware.

The grip’s shorter length and rounded upper contours are a deliberate design choice aimed at the thumb-break hold, where the thumb wraps over the top of the grip rather than wrapping around the body. That technique keeps the support hand closer to the bore axis and gives the shooter more lateral control over muzzle movement. The grip works equally well as a conventional vertical foregrip, so it accommodates either preference without compromise.

Magpul’s TSP (Trapezoidal Surface Projection) texture covers the grip body. The geometry of those raised projections bites into gloved or wet hands more reliably than a smooth or lightly stippled surface, maintaining friction across environmental conditions rather than only in dry-range settings.

Construction is polymer throughout, which keeps weight low enough that adding this grip does not meaningfully shift the balance of a lightweight carbine build.
