Description

The Magpul MOE Rifle Stock is a fixed-stock replacement built for AR-15 and M16 rifles that run a rifle-length receiver extension — the kind originally paired with A1 and A2 stocks. It suits shooters who prefer the stability and consistent length-of-pull of a fixed stock over a collapsible design, particularly on precision-oriented or DMR-style builds where cheek weld repeatability matters more than adjustability.

The sloping cheek weld geometry is a deliberate departure from the flat shelf on traditional A2 stocks. That slope lets the shooter’s face settle into a more natural position behind the optic or iron sights without forcing the neck forward, which becomes meaningful during extended range sessions. The rubberized buttpad is replaceable, so if the standard length-of-pull doesn’t suit your build, Magpul offers an extended pad as a separate accessory rather than requiring a completely different stock.

Beneath the buttpad, a hinged door opens into a storage compartment sized for batteries, a small cleaning kit, or spare parts — useful for field use where carrying a separate kit isn’t practical. The stock also incorporates a 1.25-inch sling loop at the rear and knockout bosses machined into the underside that accept an optional accessory rail segment. QD push-button swivel mounts are compatible but require the separately purchased Magpul Sling Mount Kit Type 1; the sockets are present in the polymer body, but the steel insert hardware does not come installed from the factory.
