MAGPUL MOE SL GRIP AR15/M4 FDE

Description

The Magpul MOE SL Grip—SL standing for Slim Line—was designed specifically for short length-of-pull setups where the shooting hand ends up closer to the body than a standard rifle configuration allows. That geometry is the point: a more vertical grip angle reduces wrist break at short LOP, keeping the hand in a neutral position and letting the trigger finger approach the shoe at a consistent angle regardless of stock position.

Where the standard MOE grip carries a moderate palm swell and a familiar angle, the SL trims the overall profile for a slimmer feel in the hand. The TSP texture—a raised pattern across the grip body—gives the shooting hand purchase in wet or cold conditions without the harshness of skateboard tape or aggressive stippling. It bites enough to be useful; it doesn’t punish bare hands on a long range session.

Construction is polymer, which keeps weight negligible and eliminates any concern about finish wear between grip and receiver. The FDE finish is Magpul’s Flat Dark Earth, consistent with other furniture in the MOE and MOE SL family for builders running a matched set. All mounting hardware ships with the grip, so installation requires only a standard flat-head screwdriver and the single bolt that captures the grip to the lower. This grip will seat on AR-10 and SR25-pattern lowers as well, though depending on receiver geometry there may be a slight gap at the beavertail—cosmetic only, with no effect on function.
