Description

The B5 Systems P-Grip in the Type C configuration is built for AR-15 shooters who want a more upright grip angle than the standard mil-spec geometry provides. That steeper angle shifts the wrist into a more neutral position, which reduces fatigue during extended handling and helps maintain a consistent trigger finger placement across different shooting positions. The extended tang at the rear of the grip fills the gap between the grip and the lower receiver, giving the shooting hand a fuller purchase and preventing the web of the hand from being pinched during recoil.

The Type C designation refers to the grip’s angle profile — a more vertical orientation compared to the shallower Type A geometry. For shooters transitioning from pistols or those who run their rifles in a more upright stance, the Type C angle tends to feel more natural without requiring any adjustment to the lower receiver or trigger group. Installation is straightforward, using the standard AR pistol grip screw and no additional hardware.

B5 Systems manufactures the P-Grip domestically, and the OD Green finish here is their own ODG colorway rather than a dye lot or spray — meaning the color is consistent through the material rather than a surface coat prone to wear. The grip fits standard mil-spec AR-15 lower receivers and requires no modification to install.
