Description

The Magpul MOE Slim Line Carbine Stock is a straightforward upgrade for AR-15 and M4 pattern rifles running a mil-spec receiver extension. Where the original MOE stock managed wobble through a friction-lever system, this design eliminates that second lever entirely by using an internal anti-rattle mechanism that locks the stock against the tube without requiring any additional clamping force. The result is a cleaner profile and one fewer point of adjustment to manage under pressure.

The sloped cheek weld is cut to place the shooter’s face consistently behind the optic rather than requiring conscious repositioning each time the rifle comes up. The rollover toe — the lower corner of the butt — is shaped to angle away from the body, which makes a meaningful difference in fit for anyone shooting while wearing body armor or a plate carrier, where a square-cornered stock tends to catch and shift under the load. The angled rubber butt-pad adds purchase against a shoulder pocket and softens the interface without adding appreciable weight.

Dual-side release latches let either hand unlock the stock for length adjustment without hunting for a single-sided lever, and the chrome silicon lock spring is chosen for its resistance to taking a set over time. The stock also integrates a push-button QD swivel socket and a 1.25-inch loop, giving straightforward options for attaching a two-point or single-point sling without an additional adapter. The polymer construction keeps the overall weight at 9.6 oz — light enough that this swap does not shift the balance of a finished build in any noticeable way.
