Description
The Magpul MOE Slim Line Carbine Stock is built for shooters who run their rifle with body armor, plate carriers, or other modular gear that adds bulk between the shoulder and the receiver. The trimmed-down profile addresses a real problem: a conventional stock’s wider geometry catches on pouches and vest edges during shoulder transitions, slowing the presentation. By narrowing the stock’s silhouette, Magpul reduces that snagging without requiring the shooter to change technique.
The stock fits mil-spec receiver extension tubes as a direct drop-in, so there is no fitting or modification required on a standard AR-15 or M4-pattern lower. Six adjustment positions give a length-of-pull range that spans roughly 3.3 inches, accommodating different arm lengths and the added distance that armor creates. The adjustment is managed through dual-side release latches, meaning the shooter can actuate the lock from either side of the stock rather than hunting for a single lever under pressure.
Internally, a chrome-silicon lock spring maintains tension on the extension tube to eliminate the rattle and fore-aft play common to less robust collapsible stocks. The rolled toe and angled rubber buttpad work together to keep the stock seated during recoil rather than shifting on the shoulder. A sloping cheek weld positions the face consistently at the same height each time the rifle is mounted. An integral push-button QD swivel mount and a 1.25-inch sling loop are built in, so sling attachment does not require an additional accessory. The stock is made in the USA from polymer and is finished in Olive Drab Green. The receiver extension tube is not included.
