The Magpul MOE X-22 Stock is a purpose-built replacement chassis for the Ruger 10/22, aimed at shooters who want a more ergonomic platform without committing to a full-chassis system or a premium price point. The factory 10/22 stock is functional but relatively plain — this drop-in replacement addresses the grip angle, texture, and accessory versatility that the original leaves wanting.

The pistol grip uses Magpul’s TSP texture, which provides a more positive hold than the smooth or lightly checkered surfaces found on most factory rimfire stocks. The ergonomic polymer butt-plate sets length of pull at 13.5 inches, which suits a broad range of adult shooters without adjustment. At 18.9 ounces, the stock adds minimal weight to what is already a light rifle, keeping the assembled package easy to carry and quick to move.

Two M-LOK slots at the six o’clock position on the forend give you a direct, low-profile mounting solution for lights or lasers without requiring a separate adapter rail. Integral sling loops at the toe and forend work with standard locking sling swivels, so you can run a two-point sling without adding hardware. The stock ships with two barrel tray inserts — one sized for the standard pencil-profile barrel and one for bull-barrel profiles — so it works whether you’re running the factory tube or a heavier aftermarket barrel.
