Description

The Sig Sauer Minimalist Plus is a folding stock assembly designed for shooters running the MCX or MPX platform who want to reduce their overall package length without surrendering a functional, shoulder-able stock. It attaches via the 1913 Picatinny interface built into the rear of those receivers, which means fitment is direct and tool-free — no adapter required.

The “Plus” designation distinguishes this from the original Minimalist design. Where the standard Minimalist is a bare skeletal unit, the Plus version adds a modest cheekweld surface, giving the shooter a more consistent cheek-to-stock contact point for aimed fire. That matters on a platform chambered in pistol calibers or intermediate rifle rounds where fast target transitions are common — a repeatable cheek weld keeps the optic in the same relationship to your eye shot to shot.

The aluminum construction keeps the assembly light without introducing flex. Aluminum in this application also holds finish well; Sig’s Coyote Brown anodizing is durable and matches the tone of other Coyote-finished components in the MCX and MPX ecosystem if color coordination matters to your build.

The folding hinge lets the stock rotate out of the way when the rifle needs to fit into a confined space or a compact bag. The overall length with the stock open is 9 inches, which gives you a meaningful reduction in footprint when folded compared to most fixed or non-folding designs. At 12.3 ounces the stock adds relatively little to the overall weight of the host firearm.
