Description

The Magpul MS1 MS3 Single Point Paraclip Adapter is a purpose-built conversion piece that bridges the MS1 sling system between single-point and two-point carry configurations. Rather than committing to one carry mode, the adapter extends the MS1 with a Paraclip shackle and a heavy-duty polymer D-ring, giving the shooter a practical choice: clip a second Paraclip directly to the rifle for two-point use, or run it as a single-point by connecting to the receiver end only. That quick-change capability matters when transitioning between a vehicle, a structure, and open ground, where the optimal carry position changes but swapping slings entirely is not realistic.

The Paraclip lever itself is case-hardened steel with a cross-bolt lock bar, which keeps the shackle from releasing unintentionally under load while still allowing deliberate quick-release when an emergency demands it. Steel parts receive a Melonite finish for corrosion resistance, and the webbing section is 1.25-inch nylon treated for near-infrared signature reduction — a detail that matters in environments where IR detection is a concern. The hardware pairing of hardened steel and reinforced polymer keeps the assembly light without introducing flex where the load is carried.

This adapter requires an MS1 Sling (MAG513) and a second Paraclip (MAG541), both sold separately, to unlock the full single-to-two-point conversion capability. Snap-hook style sling loops with an inner diameter of at least 3/8 inch are needed for attachment; loops of 9/16 inch or larger allow full range of motion at the connection point. Finished in Coyote Brown to coordinate with other Magpul accessories in that colorway.
