Description

The Magpul MS1 Padded Sling is a two-point, quick-adjust sling designed for shooters who carry a rifle for extended periods and need to transition between carry and ready positions without fumbling with hardware. Where the standard MS1 uses flat nylon webbing throughout, this padded variant adds a contoured shoulder section that distributes the rifle’s weight more evenly across the shoulder, reducing fatigue during long patrols, range days, or hunting carries through rough terrain.

Adjustment is handled by a single pull-tab that lets you open the sling up for a quick transition to a ready position or cinch it back down to keep the rifle tight against your body while moving. The hardware is metal, not polymer, which matters at attachment points that see repetitive stress and occasional shock loads. The webbing runs in Coyote, Magpul’s warm tan that photographs closer to a light earth tone than to the yellow side of coyote-tan finishes from other eras of military-pattern gear.
