Description

The Magpul MS1 MS3 QD Single Point Adapter is a purpose-built conversion piece for shooters who run the MS1 sling and want the ability to move quickly between two-point and single-point carry without swapping out the sling itself. The core idea is straightforward: by adding a push-button QD swivel socket extension and a D-ring to the existing MS1 setup, the shooter can clip directly to a QD socket on the rifle for two-point carry, or attach an additional Paraclip (sold separately as MAG541) to the D-ring to go single-point — all without threading a new sling through the rifle or breaking the setup down.

The QD swivel itself is built from hardened steel with a manganese phosphate finish, which resists corrosion and reduces surface reflectivity. The polymer components are reinforced, keeping weight down without giving up the durability needed under field conditions. The 1.25-inch nylon webbing is treated for near-infrared signature reduction, a practical consideration for anyone operating under night vision or in environments where IR detection is a concern.
