Description
The Magpul MS1 is a dedicated two-point sling that can serve in a one-point role when paired with the appropriate optional adapter — a practical solution for shooters who want a single sling that adapts to different carry methods without buying separate systems. The core of the design is the MS1 slider, which lets you lengthen or shorten the sling quickly under load, then locks in place without creeping. There are no loose tails, dangling loops, or secondary buckles to catch on gear or a vehicle door frame.
In its standard two-point configuration, the MS1 supports hands-free carry, shooting support from unconventional positions, and shoulder transitions without requiring you to remove the rifle or fight with the sling. The 1.25-inch webbing keeps the profile narrow enough to avoid bulk on the shoulder while remaining strong enough for active field use. Magpul subjected the design to extended static load holds, weighted dynamic drop tests, and sustained cycling in wet, dry, and sandy conditions before releasing it — the kind of testing that matters more than controlled lab pull numbers for a product that gets dragged through real terrain.
The sling attaches to standard swivel hardware out of the box, and the adapter ecosystem — sold separately, compatible with Paraclip or QD sling swivel connections — means you can reconfigure the attachment points as your rifle setup changes without replacing the sling itself. The entire MS1 system is made in the United States and is Berry Amendment compliant. This Coyote variant is finished in Magpul’s Coyote color, a muted tan that suits most earth-tone kit without standing out in the field.
