Description

The Magpul PC Backpacker Stock is built for Ruger PC Carbine owners who want to carry their rifle broken down and get it back into action quickly. It drops in without modification across all factory PC Carbine models chambered in 9mm Luger and .40 S&W, and its locking interface holds the barrel assembly secured to the stock body during transport, so the two halves stay together and rattle-free rather than loose in a pack or case.

The handguard runs M-LOK slots at the 3 and 9 o’clock positions, which keeps the forend slim enough for a comfortable grip while still giving you real estate for a light, pressure switch, or bipod without adding bulk where you do not need it. Two storage compartments are integrated into the design: the grip section is water-resistant and sized for small tools, a cleaning kit, or survival items, while the riser section holds a single pistol magazine — a useful arrangement when the rifle is stowed and the rest of your gear is elsewhere.

The cheek risers are interchangeable between a standard height and an optic height, so you can fit the stock to iron sights or a red dot without shimming or improvising a cheek weld. The included MOE SL rubber butt-pad is non-slip and pairs with the MOE SL Enhanced Rubber Butt-Pad (MAG349, sold separately) if you need an additional 3/8 inch of length of pull. QD cup mounting points are placed to support sling attachment whether the rifle is assembled or broken down, compatible with Magpul’s Sling Mount Kit Type 1 and Type 2. The result is a stock that reorganizes the PC Carbine around portability without asking you to give up a practical shooting platform when it comes time to use it.
