Description
The Magpul PMAG 10 LR/SR GEN M3 is built for SR25/M110 pattern rifles and aimed at shooters who need a compact, low-profile magazine — whether that means hunting from a pack, working off a bipod, or running a precision platform with longer handloaded or match ammunition. At 10 rounds, the body sits short enough to keep the rifle flat against a rest without the magazine floor touching the ground or a bag, which matters when you’re shooting prone with a tight position.
The magazine is optimized to feed 7.62×51 NATO and .308 Winchester ammunition up to 2.830 inches overall length, which covers standard loads including the M118LR long-range round. That extra internal clearance is the reason shooters using extended match projectiles reach for this over a standard-dimension box. A constant-curve internal geometry keeps the stack feeding consistently, and the anti-tilt follower is self-lubricating — it resists cocking under spring pressure and doesn’t need additional treatment to run reliably. The stainless steel spring resists corrosion over time, which matters for a magazine that may sit loaded for extended periods.
The floorplate is flared enough to give a firm grip during removal and disassembly but stays slim enough to fit standard pouches. A snap-on impact and dust cover protects both the feed lips and chambered rounds from debris during carry, and comes off quickly when the magazine goes into service. Compatible rifles include the KAC SR25, LMT .308 MWS, Ruger Precision Rifle, S&W M&P10, SIG716, and a number of others from JP Enterprises, LaRue, LWRCI, Noveske, and POF, among the most common SR25-pattern platforms in current production.
