Description

The Magpul PMAG 30 AR/M4 GEN M3 Window is a purpose-built polymer magazine for AR-15 and M4-pattern rifles chambered in 5.56x45mm and .223 Remington. It suits shooters who want a dependable, low-maintenance feeding solution and who need to track round count without breaking position or pulling the magazine.

The defining feature of the Window variant is the MagLevel system: anti-glare transparent panels run down both sides of the body, and a painted indicator coil sits inside against those windows. The coil compresses as rounds are consumed, giving you a continuous visual reference for remaining capacity rather than a rough high-or-low estimate. That matters most during sustained firing or in low-light conditions where counting rounds mentally isn’t practical.

Internally, a constant-curve geometry keeps the cartridge stack aligned on the same arc all the way to the feed lips, which reduces the angular change a round has to make as it strips into the chamber. The self-lubricating anti-tilt follower works with that geometry to prevent nose-down tip and the feeding failures that follow. Reinforced feed lips maintain consistent cartridge positioning under the stress of repeated loading cycles, and an over-insertion stop on the spine prevents the magazine from seating too deeply on platforms that allow it.

The exterior is textured aggressively on the front and rear panels for positive control, and paint-pen dot matrix panels on the body let you mark individual magazines for identification without tape or labels.
