Description

The Magpul SGA Receiver Sling Mount gives Remington 870 owners a dedicated, low-profile attachment point for one-point sling systems at the rear of the firearm. Rather than relying on a generic swivel stud or improvised solutions, this mount integrates directly with the Magpul SGA Stock, seating cleanly at the front face of the stock on either the left or right side to accommodate different carry preferences and shooting setups.

The connection geometry is designed around clip-in style attachments — the MS3 Paraclip, HK hook, ITW MASH hook, and similar hardware — so transitioning between sling configurations or swapping sling types in the field stays quick and tool-free. That kind of modularity matters when the same shotgun serves different roles across a season or different users in a household.

Construction is precision cast steel, then Melonite treated. Melonite is a ferritic nitrocarburizing process that hardens the surface and drives corrosion resistance well beyond bare or blued steel — practically relevant for a part that lives on a working shotgun exposed to weather, sweat, and handling wear. The black finish is a function of the treatment process rather than a coating applied on top, so there is no layer to chip or flake under use.
