Description

The Magpul UBR Gen 2 is built for shooters who want the cheek weld consistency of a fixed stock without giving up the ability to adjust length of pull. That trade-off—between rigidity and adaptability—is what the original UBR was designed to solve, and the Gen 2 refines that approach with a fixed cheek piece that stays in position across all eight adjustment settings. Whether you’re shooting from a supported prone position or transitioning to a standing offhand hold, the weld point doesn’t shift, which matters any time optic height and eye relief need to stay predictable.

Compatibility covers both Carbine-length and A5 buffer systems on AR-15 and M4 platforms, as well as SR-25-length systems for AR-10 pattern rifles, so one stock covers a fairly wide range of builds without modification. The angled-toe rubber butt-pad is the same MOE SL profile Magpul uses across several of their stocks—it seats cleanly against the shoulder pocket and resists slipping under recoil. QD sling attachment points are built in at both the front and rear, and two footman’s loops give additional sling routing options without adding hardware. A compartment in the stock body provides modest but useful storage for small maintenance items or a spare battery. The Olive Drab Green finish is Magpul’s ODG—a muted, low-reflectivity tone that fits well on a working rifle without drawing attention.
