The MDT Send iT Level Gen 2 solves a problem that anyone who shoots precision rifles at distance knows well: confirming cant without pulling your eye from the optic. The original Send iT, released in 2017, established the concept of LED-based rifle leveling as a practical alternative to bubble levels. This second generation carries that idea forward with meaningful refinements rather than cosmetic ones.

The Gen 2 is nearly 50% smaller than its predecessor, which matters for mounting flexibility and overall rifle balance. It mounts via a standard Picatinny rail and also supports V-Mount compatibility, giving you more placement options depending on your chassis or stock configuration. The LED feedback system is user-configurable, including a single-LED mode with blinking alerts, so you can adapt the display to your preference and ambient light conditions without being locked into one behavior.

Where the Gen 2 makes its clearest practical argument is the ocular kit included in the box. A fiber optic line routes the LED signal to a ring that sits over your scope eyepiece, putting the level indicator directly in your peripheral view while you’re behind the glass. That means no head movement, no broken position, no lost time reacquiring the target. Green means the rifle is level — the logic stays simple regardless of which mode you’re running.

Battery life runs up to 200 hours on a standard CR2032 coin cell, which is user-replaceable without tools. Programmable auto power-off can be set anywhere from one to five hours or disabled entirely, depending on how you run your range sessions. The modular bezel and housing design also leaves room for future upgrades without requiring a full replacement of the unit.
