Description

The MDT SRS-XF Premier Folding Buttstock is built for precision rifle shooters who need their chassis system to pack down for the field without sacrificing the lockup required for consistent long-range performance. The folding mechanism connects through the XTN Interface, which means a single screw is all it takes to add folding capability to any compatible MDT chassis — no permanent modification, no secondary hardware.

When folded, a large bolt clearance pocket allows the stock to clear most factory and aftermarket bolt handles without any adjustments to the action side. That matters in the field, where the last thing you want is to reconfigure your rifle before deploying it. Once opened and locked, the stock returns to the same position every time, so your cheek weld and sight picture are repeatable.

The cheek piece has been redesigned with a lower profile specifically to give bolt handles room to cycle without contact, and it remains adjustable for height so you can dial in your head position relative to your optic. Length of pull is also tunable, and the stock accepts MDT’s Buttstock Weight and LOP Spacer Weight for shooters who want to shift the rifle’s balance point rearward — useful when running heavier optics up front. The skeletonized body keeps weight down while maintaining enough structural rigidity to handle the stresses of precision shooting and rough carry.

This stock is designed for MDT’s XTN Interface chassis family and is not compatible with AR-pattern receivers. Ruger American and left-handed chassis configurations require specific adapter orientation to ensure clean folding over the bolt handle — MDT documents the correct setup for each case.
