Description

The MDT XRS is built for shooters who want the practical advantages of a precision chassis without abandoning the familiar handling of a traditional rifle stock. It fits the Tikka T3 short action in a right-hand configuration and comes finished in Flat Dark Earth. The target audience is broad on purpose: hunters who need something that carries naturally in the field, and range shooters who want a more repeatable platform than a factory stock provides.

The structural core is CNC-machined 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum, wrapped in high-strength textured polymer panels. That combination keeps the chassis from transmitting cold and heat the way bare metal would, while the aluminum underneath does the real work of holding geometry under repeated use. Bedding is handled by a precision aluminum V-block system, which creates a more consistent interface between the action and the chassis than a traditional pillar-bedded stock typically allows, and that consistency matters most when you are trying to understand what your rifle is actually capable of.

Length of pull adjusts via spacers across a range from 13.25 inches out to more than 15 inches, so the chassis can be tuned to the shooter rather than forcing a compromise. A quick-adjust cheek piece lets you set your eye height to match the specific scope and mount combination you are running, rather than approximating a position. Both an angled grip and a vertical grip ship in the box, which makes it worth spending a session with each before committing to one — grip angle has a measurable effect on where your hand sits relative to the trigger and how consistently you can repeat that position.

The 12-inch forend is flat and wide, with M-LOK slots along its length and an integrated barricade stop. That geometry gives the chassis a stable contact surface on bags or support, and the M-LOK interface lets you add ARCA or Picatinny rails to match your support system. The chassis accepts standard AICS-pattern magazines through an ambidextrous magazine latch.
