Description

The MDT XRS chassis is built for hunters and precision shooters who want a modern, fully adjustable platform without abandoning the familiar profile of a traditional rifle stock. Rather than an exposed skeletal frame, the XRS wraps a full-length CNC-machined 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum core in high-strength textured polymer panels. That combination keeps the chassis manageable in cold or wet conditions where bare metal becomes a liability, while the aluminum core does the structural work.

Accuracy starts at the bedding surface. The precision aluminum V-block system locks the Remington 700 long action into a repeatable position, eliminating the inconsistencies that come with a factory stock’s pressure points. From there, fit is handled by an adjustable length of pull that runs from 13.25 inches to beyond 15 inches via spacers, and a quick-adjust cheek piece that lets you dial in the correct height for whatever optic you mount. Neither adjustment requires tools or guesswork.

The grip system is replaceable and over-molded for texture, and the chassis ships with both an angled and a vertical option so you can match the geometry to your shooting position before you ever go to the range. The 12-inch forend carries M-LOK slots along its length, giving you straightforward attachment points for a bipod, ARCA rail, or Picatinny rail without adding unnecessary bulk. Magazine compatibility follows the AICS pattern, and the ambidextrous latch works from either side without adjustments. At approximately 3.9 pounds depending on inlet, the XRS sits at a weight that works for a carried hunting rifle as readily as it does for a bench or field precision build.
