Description
The Night Fision Optics Ready Fiber Sight set is built for Glock 17, 19, 45, and 48 owners who are running a red dot optic and still want a usable set of iron sights. When a slide-mounted optic like the Holosun 507c raises the optical axis above standard sight height, factory-height irons disappear behind the optic body and become useless. Night Fision solves this by cutting the front and rear sights specifically to clear the optic housing, letting you co-witness or use the irons independently if the dot goes down.
The front sight uses a green fiber optic rod, which gathers ambient light passively and presents a bright aiming point without batteries or activation. In normal daylight, a fiber optic front tends to acquire faster than a plain black post, and the green color is easy to distinguish from the black rear. The rear sight is blacked out, which keeps the visual field clean and prevents the rear from competing with the front for attention during target acquisition.
This set is confirmed compatible with the RMR, 507c, SRO, and ACRO footprint, covering the most common red dot platforms on Gen 3 through Gen 5 full-size and compact Glocks in that family. Installation follows the same process as any standard Glock sight swap and requires no permanent modification to the pistol. The result is a backup sighting system that is actually usable at optic height rather than a set of irons that exist only on paper.
