Description
The SLIM L35 is built for hunters who want a single optic that transitions from hand-carried scouting to rifle-mounted shooting without breaking zero. The proprietary quick-detach mount lets you pull the unit off the rifle, glass an area as a monocular, and snap it back onto the gun — the return-to-zero is maintained by the mount’s design, so you are not re-adjusting every time you switch roles. That flexibility matters most on nighttime predator hunts, where you may spend long stretches scanning before a shot opportunity develops.
The magnesium alloy body keeps weight down for extended glassing sessions, and the soft-touch button layout is deliberately quiet — a practical detail when you are working close to game. A 1024×768 AMOLED display delivers fine gradation across the image, which helps resolve body shape and gait at distance rather than just a heat blob. The 384×288 thermal sensor runs at 12μm pixel pitch with NETD at or below 18mK, meaning it responds to very small temperature differences in the scene — useful when an animal’s thermal signature is partially obscured by brush or its body temperature is close to ambient.
Power comes from a standard 18650 cell that drops in and out without tools, so carrying a spare is straightforward. The magnetic charging port lets you top off the battery inside the unit in low-light conditions without fumbling for a connector. Recoil-activated video begins recording automatically around a shot, capturing footage you would otherwise need to manually trigger. The 4–16× magnification range gives you room to work at close brush distances or push out to longer coyote country without switching optics. Multiple reticle options let you match the overlay to your preferred holdover method.
