Otis Technology’s .22 caliber pistol cleaning kit is built for shooters who want a complete, ready-to-use setup for rimfire handgun maintenance without sourcing components separately. Everything in the kit is sized specifically for .22, .22 Rimfire, and .22LR chambers and bores, so there is no adapting of undersized or oversized tools.

The rod section is solid brass, which matters in a cleaning rod because brass is softer than steel rifling — it will not score the lands if it contacts the bore during use. The swivel handle at one end lets the rod rotate freely as it follows the rifling rather than fighting it, which reduces the risk of accelerated wear on both the patches and the bore surface itself. The threaded female end uses a standard 8-32 pattern, so the included components seat securely without play.

The bronze phosphor bore brush provides more aggressive fouling removal than a mop alone, while the cotton bore mop is better suited to applying solvent and following up after brushing. The brass pierce point jag holds a patch centered in the bore, giving more consistent contact with the rifling than a slotted tip. All 100 included patches are cut to 1″x1″, sized for .22 caliber work. The nylon all-purpose brush handles exterior surfaces and hard-to-reach areas around the action. A 0.5 fl. oz. bottle of Otis FP-10 Lubricant Elite CLP rounds out the kit for lubrication after cleaning. Components are precision machined and manufactured in the USA.
