The carbon fiber-wrapped match-grade barrel is the functional heart of the design. A 1-in-10 twist rate in 300 Win Mag seats well with a wide range of hunting and match projectiles in the 180–215 grain range; it stabilizes the heavier long-range bullets without being so fast that it penalizes lighter loads.
