Description

The PWS BDE is a rimfire suppressor built around a 3D-printed titanium monocore — a construction method that produces a part lighter and structurally more consistent than a conventionally machined equivalent, because additive manufacturing can form internal geometry that cutting tools cannot reach. That matters on a rimfire host because weight forward of the muzzle accumulates quickly, and a lighter can keeps the balance of a pistol or a lightweight rifle closer to where the shooter expects it.

The monocore is fully removable, which means fouling — and rimfire ammunition produces a lot of it — can be scrubbed off the baffles directly rather than flushed through a sealed tube. The taper-threaded connection between baffles addresses a chronic problem with multi-piece suppressor designs: carbon buildup that either welds components together or allows them to walk loose under sustained fire. Taper threads maintain clamping force even as carbon accumulates, so the stack stays tight and disassembly remains practical after a long range session.

Inside and out, the BDE carries a DLC (diamond-like carbon) coating. On the exterior it resists corrosion and handling wear; on the interior surfaces it reduces the adhesion of carbon and lead deposits, making the cleaning that rimfire shooting demands considerably less tedious. The 1/2×28 thread pattern is the standard pitch for .22-caliber hosts, so direct mounting to most threaded rimfire barrels requires no adapter.
