Description
The PWS BDE PUB XL Mount is the right choice when your muzzle device won’t cooperate with a standard suppressor hub adapter. Three-port compensators and other extended muzzle devices sit farther out from the barrel shoulder than a conventional design, which means a standard-length mount bottoms out before it can make proper contact with the suppressor. The PUB XL solves that with additional forward clearance, giving those devices the room they need for a secure, gas-sealed connection.
Compatibility follows the 1.375-24 thread pitch that defines the HUB standard, so the mount pairs with any HUB-threaded suppressor regardless of brand. PWS specifies it for use with their own FRC compensators, the Q LLC Cherry Bomb, and Rearden Manufacturing muzzle devices—all of which present the extended profile this adapter is designed around. Attachment requires no tools; the tapered interface handles alignment mechanically, centering the suppressor concentrically on each installation so point of impact stays consistent when you run your suppressor across different hosts or add it after a cold bore shot.
Torque the mount to between 25 and 35 foot-pounds and leave it. The tapered seat keeps it from walking under recoil without requiring thread-locking compounds that complicate removal. Made in the USA, and covered by PWS’s Valued Owner Warranty—a fully transferable lifetime warranty with no proof-of-purchase requirement. If you’re already running a standard PUB Mount and moving to a three-port device, the XL is the direct replacement that makes that transition work.
