Description
The Radian Model 1 Builder Kit is aimed at the shooter who wants to build a complete upper and lower assembly around a matched, purpose-designed receiver set rather than mixing parts from separate sources. Because the billet upper and the A-DAC 15 lower are engineered together, the fit between them is consistent in a way that pairing a stripped upper with an unrelated lower cannot guarantee — the interface is a known quantity from the start.
The ambidextrous control layout is the defining characteristic of the Model 1 platform. The Talon 45/90 safety selector, the Raptor-SD charging handle, the bolt catch and release, and the magazine release are all operable from either side without modification or aftermarket substitution. That matters practically for left-handed shooters running the gun as-issued, and for right-handed shooters working support-side during positional shooting or after a strong-hand injury.
The 14-inch M-LOK handguard gives enough rail space to mount a light, a laser, and a grip device simultaneously without crowding, while the M-LOK slots themselves keep overall weight lower than a full Picatinny rail would. The kit ships with the barrel nut, wrench, cross bolts, washers, and hardware needed to complete the handguard installation, so the builder is not hunting for proprietary torque specs from a separate manufacturer.
The Flat Dark Earth Cerakote finish is applied consistently across the receiver set and handguard, so the color match holds regardless of which compatible barrel and muzzle device the builder adds. Every component in the kit is inspected and hand-assembled at Radian’s facility before shipping. The lifetime guarantee covers the complete product.
