Description
The Radian Model 1 in 6mm ARC is built for precision work at distance — hunting, long-range target shooting, or any role where a standard 5.56 cartridge runs out of steam before the task does. The 6mm ARC was designed specifically for the AR-15 platform to deliver a higher ballistic coefficient than 5.56 NATO, meaning it sheds velocity more slowly and drifts less in wind, giving a shooter meaningful advantages past the distances where most .223 loads become marginal.
The 18-inch barrel sits in a useful middle ground: long enough to let the 6mm ARC approach its velocity potential, but short enough to remain a practical field rifle rather than a dedicated bench gun. Radian pairs this with a fluted barrel profile, which removes material along the bore to reduce weight without shortening it, keeping the balance point forward without the full mass penalty of a heavy contour.
Every control on the rifle is ambidextrous by design. The Talon safety selector operates at 45 and 90 degrees, letting a shooter choose the throw that suits their technique, and the Raptor-SD charging handle is engineered with suppressor use in mind, venting gas away from the shooter’s face rather than directly rearward. The extended aluminum handguard runs M-LOK slots along its length, leaving the rail surface open for lights, slings, or bipod mounts without adding bulk from unused Picatinny sections.
Each rifle is assembled individually by a single gunsmith who test-fires and inspects it before it ships. Radian backs the result with a lifetime guarantee. The Olive Drab Green Cerakote finish is applied over the aluminum and steel construction, providing corrosion resistance without the gloss that catches light in field conditions.
