Description

The Radian Raptor charging handle for the SIG MPX addresses a real limitation of the factory unit: the standard handle requires a deliberate, single-handed grip that slows the charging stroke and favors one side. Radian’s patented ambidextrous latch design lets you run the handle with a palm-blade sweep or a finger-and-thumb pinch from either the strong or support side, which keeps the motion consistent regardless of how the rifle is shouldered or which hand is free.

The body is machined from 7075 aluminum and finished to MIL-SPEC Type III hard anodizing, which gives the metal surface a hardness that resists the kind of abrasion that comes from repeated cycling under training conditions. Over that aluminum frame, Radian molds a fiberglass-reinforced polymer shell. That combination matters because pure aluminum handles can transfer heat and feel slick when wet; the polymer layer adds grip texture and some thermal insulation without adding meaningful weight. This is the same construction philosophy Radian used in the full-size Raptor, adapted here for the MPX’s geometry.

The Raptor for the MPX is not a universal AR-pattern handle — it is dimensioned specifically for the SIG MPX platform.
