Description

The Raptor-LT is Radian Weapons’ answer to a straightforward problem: the factory charging handle on a mil-spec AR-15 is a one-handed, right-handed design that slows down anyone working from the support side or running the rifle in unconventional positions. The Raptor-LT solves that with the same patented ambidextrous latch geometry Radian developed for its full-size Raptor, letting either hand blade the palm, use a thumb, or hook fingers across the latch without changing grip or breaking position. The motion is the same whether you are running strong-side or support-side, which matters most when a malfunction needs clearing under time pressure.

The body is machined from 7075-T6 aluminum and finished with a MILSPEC Type III hard anodize before the latch section is over-molded with high-strength fiberglass-reinforced polymer. That construction sequence matters: the aluminum core keeps the handle rigid under the shear forces of a hard charge, while the polymer over-mold absorbs impact, reduces weight at the rear of the upper, and gives the latch a positive, non-slip feel even with wet or gloved hands. The result is a handle that is lighter than an all-metal design without sacrificing the structural integrity the latch pivot depends on.

The Stealth Grey finish is matched to standard Magpul color offerings, so it integrates cleanly on rifles wearing grey furniture without looking mismatched.
