Description

The Radian Talon 45/90 is an ambidextrous safety selector built for AR-platform shooters who want genuine flexibility in how their control operates, without compromising reliability or requiring tools to reconfigure it. The defining characteristic of this design is its modular throw system: the levers can be switched between a 90-degree and a 45-degree arc of travel while the selector remains installed in the lower receiver. For competition or fast-paced range work, the shorter 45-degree throw reduces the distance your thumb travels between safe and fire, tightening the time between positions. For shooters who prefer the tactile certainty of a full 90-degree detent, that configuration is equally available from the same hardware.

The kit ships with both a short lever and a long lever, giving you a matched ambidextrous setup or the option to mix lengths to suit your grip and thumb reach. Retention is handled without screws, which eliminates the failure mode of a set screw backing out under use. The center shaft is machined from hardened steel with a black nitride finish, providing the toughness needed at the pivot point where load is concentrated.
