Description

The Radian Weapons Afterburner and RAMJET combo is built for Glock 17 Gen 5 shooters who want measurably faster follow-up shots without adding bulk or switching holsters. The system is designed around competitive shooting and serious range work, where muzzle flip costs time and predictability matters more than novelty.

The RAMJET barrel is match-grade and threadless, which is the foundation of the whole design. Rather than relying on conventional barrel threads to seat the Afterburner compensator, Radian’s INTRA-LOK mounting system locks the compensator directly to the barrel using its own integrated interface. That approach means the compensator stays precisely indexed to the bore every time, and the barrel can be removed for cleaning without tools or the friction fit problems that plague some threaded setups.

The Afterburner compensator is contoured to follow the profile of a standard Glock slide, so the combined length and geometry remain compatible with most standard G17 holsters — an important practical consideration if this is going on a carry or duty gun rather than a dedicated competition build. Recoil and muzzle rise are redirected through the compensator’s porting, letting the muzzle recover on a flatter plane between shots.

Both components are machined from 416R stainless steel, a grade chosen for its corrosion resistance and surface hardness under the friction of repeated cycling. The Bronze finish is a DLC over stainless steel, giving the combo a distinctive look that holds up in use. The package includes the RAMJET barrel, the Afterburner compensator, and all INTRA-LOK mounting hardware needed for installation.
