Description
The Radian AFTERBURNER and RAMJET combination is built for Glock 19 Gen3 shooters who want meaningful recoil and muzzle flip reduction without the hassle of a conventionally threaded barrel setup. The core design decision here is the INTRA-LOK mounting system, which uses a taper-lock principle rather than threads: the AFTERBURNER compensator slides over the RAMJET barrel and is secured with a single locking screw. That means installation and removal are repeatable and tool-minimal, and the barrel can be pulled from the slide for cleaning without fighting a muzzle device that has torqued itself tight under recoil.
The RAMJET barrel is machined from 416R stainless steel, a grade chosen for its dimensional stability and corrosion resistance in a carry context. The AFTERBURNER compensator is machined from hardened stainless steel, and both components carry a Radianite DLC coating in a bronze and black finish — Bronze being the Radian designation for this specific color treatment, not a raw metal surface. The compensator’s angled front faces serve a practical secondary function: they ease holstering with the compensator attached, reducing the catch points that square-faced comps typically present.
Because this system does not rely on a threaded barrel, there is no exposed thread crown to protect or cap when running the pistol without the compensator, and the barrel drops in and out of a standard Gen3 Glock 19 slide without modification to the firearm itself. The 4.42-inch barrel length sits slightly longer than the factory Glock 19 barrel, which the compensator geometry accounts for in the overall envelope. This is a carry-oriented package — the angled compensator profile reflects that priority more than a range-only build would require.
