Description

The Radian Afterburner and Ramjet are designed as a matched system for Glock 19, 19X, and 45 Gen 5 pistols, aimed at shooters who want meaningful recoil reduction without adding bulk or going through a threading process. The Ramjet is a match-grade, fluted barrel machined from hardened 416R stainless steel with a cut-rifled bore and a gas sealing chamber at the muzzle end. The Afterburner is the compensator half of the system, built from hardened 17-4 stainless steel and measuring just 0.47 inches in length — small enough to clear most holsters, aided further by angled front faces that prevent snagging on the draw.

What keeps these two components together without threads is the INTRA-LOK system. A tapered locking pin on the Afterburner engages a V-groove machined into the underside of the Ramjet barrel. As the compensator seats, the taper draws it down and times it consistently without Loctite, shims, or setscrews. This means the Afterburner can be installed or removed quickly and returns to the same indexed position every time. The barrel carries a Radianite finish for corrosion resistance.

That figure comes from the compensator venting propellant gas upward while the barrel’s gas sealing chamber helps meter that flow, keeping the system working efficiently through the firing cycle.
