At its core, the kit pairs a billet-machined upper receiver with a 15.5-inch M-LOK handguard, giving the builder a matched, pre-fitted platform rather than the tolerance stack-up that comes with mixing parts from different manufacturers.

The billet upper receiver is machined rather than forged, which produces tighter internal geometry and a more consistent fit with the bolt carrier group — a meaningful difference when you are chasing repeatable accuracy rather than simply feeding a duty rifle. The 15.5-inch handguard length keeps the shooter’s support hand well forward of the gas block, which improves natural index and reduces muzzle movement under rapid fire. M-LOK slots run the length of the rail, so lights, pressure pads, and bipods mount directly without adapter weight.

The kit includes a Raptor SD charging handle, Radian’s ambidextrous design that allows positive manipulation from either side of the rifle without breaking cheek weld or shifting grip.
