Description

The Reptilia CQG is a purpose-built pistol grip designed to address a real mechanical limitation of the standard AR grip angle: as the shooter moves to a more compact platform or shortened stock configuration, the wrist is forced into an awkward, canted position that increases fatigue and reduces consistent trigger pull. The CQG counters this with a more vertical grip angle, which straightens the wrist and distributes sustained firing load more evenly across the hand — a difference that becomes noticeable during longer training sessions rather than a few rounds at the bench.

The grip is constructed from impact-modified reinforced nylon, which resists cracking under hard use and keeps weight low. The surface texture is aggressive enough to maintain purchase with wet or gloved hands without being abrasive during extended handling. An enhanced beaver tail design bridges the gap between the grip and the lower receiver, reducing the likelihood of hammer bite and giving the firing hand a higher, more consistent purchase point on the gun.

Compatibility is broad — the CQG fits AR-15, AR-10, SR-25, MCX, and FN SCAR 16 and 17 platforms, so shooters running multiple builds can standardize grip feel across the safe. This variant is finished in Flat Dark Earth. Installation uses the standard AR grip screw and requires no modification to the lower receiver.
