Description

The Reptilia RECC-E is a fixed carbine stock built around a modular architecture that lets it serve across the full range of AR-pattern platforms. The A5-length variant ships with a proprietary SR-25/A5-length receiver extension, so it installs directly on AR-10 and SR-25 pattern rifles without additional hardware, and the design can also be reconfigured for a standard AR-15 carbine buffer system by swapping the receiver extension and forward stock section — a genuine platform-agnostic solution rather than a platform-specific accessory.

The cheek weld is fixed rather than adjustable, which eliminates the shift in head position that collapsible stocks introduce when a shooter moves between positions or transitions quickly. For precision or duty work where a repeatable, consistent cheek-to-stock contact matters, that trade-off in adjustability earns its keep. The rubber buttpad sits at the rear of a fixed shell, so felt recoil transmits through a consistent contact point every time.

QD sling attachment points are positioned on both sides and are switchable, accommodating left- and right-handed configurations without permanent modification. The stock body is constructed from impact-modified glass-filled nylon polymer — a material chosen for its resistance to impact and temperature variation rather than for weight minimization alone. The complete assembly, including the receiver extension, comes in at 12.8 ounces. Length of pull runs between 12.375 and 15 inches, giving the shooter a meaningful range of fit without introducing the mechanical complexity of a collapsible design. Development on this stock took over two years and was shaped by direct input from a military end user.
