Description
The Reptilia ROF Riser is a mounting solution for shooters who need to bring a red dot higher above the rail — whether to clear a magnifier body, improve cheek-weld alignment on a particular platform, or match the optical axis to an existing sight line. The 10mm of additional height it provides is enough to make a meaningful difference in head position without creating an awkward, over-tall stack.
It is machined from billet 7075-T6 aluminum and finished with a Mil-Spec Type III hard anodized coating, which resists abrasion and corrosion without adding meaningful weight. The Flat Dark Earth anodize is the same process used on the rest of the riser body, not a paint or cerakote applied over bare metal, so it carries the same durability as the substrate. The riser mounts to any M1913 Picatinny rail and is compatible with the Trijicon RMR and SRO footprints, as well as Holosun 407c and 507c pattern optics, giving it some flexibility if your optic lineup changes. Mounting hardware is included.
Reptilia manufactures this in the USA. The slim profile keeps the overall envelope tighter than a riser with integral shrouding or weight-adding features — useful if the mount will live on a handgun slide-mounted optic plate or a compact carbine where bulk is a real consideration. If your current mount puts the dot lower than your preferred head position demands, this riser addresses that gap directly without requiring a full mount swap.
