Description

The Reptilia ROF-45 is built for shooters running a magnified optic who want a backup red dot offset at 45 degrees — a configuration common in competition and precision rifle shooting where transitioning from a scope to a close-range sight needs to be fast and intuitive. Rather than adding a separate rail segment or riser, the ROF-45 replaces the top half of a 30mm scope ring, which keeps the red dot as close to the bore axis as possible and avoids the height-over-bore penalty that comes with clamp-on solutions mounted above the scope body.

It is designed as a drop-in fit for Reptilia’s own AUS scope mounts and for Geissele Super Precision mounts, so installation does not require additional adapters or hardware. The mount is machined from billet 7075-T6 aluminum and finished in a MIL-STD Type III hardcoat anodize in Flat Dark Earth, which means the surface hardness is not just a cosmetic treatment but a functional one suited to hard use. At 27 grams, the added weight is negligible on a rifle that already carries a full-size scope.

Compatible optics include the Trijicon RMR and SRO, as well as Holosun HS407, HE407, HS507, HE507, and HE508 series — all of which share a common footprint, so the mount works across a range of dot sizes and battery configurations without modification. Made in the USA.
