Description

The Reptilia ROF-90 is built for shooters running a magnified optic on an Aimpoint ACRO or Surefire MADS MPS who need a reliable secondary aiming solution without breaking down their primary setup. It drops directly into a Reptilia AUS Mount or a Geissele Super Precision 35mm magnified optic mount, so there is no machining, no adapter stack, and no loss of zero on the primary glass when you install or remove it.

The core purpose is fast access to a non-magnified, close-quarters capable red dot at 90 degrees offset from the primary optic. Rotating the rifle slightly puts the ACRO or MPS on target without changing your grip or dismounting the magnified optic. That geometry also opens up passive night-vision aiming in situations where the primary optic’s eye relief makes helmet-mounted NVG use awkward. A third practical application is cartridge-specific zeroing: because the offset optic can be zeroed independently, it can hold a subsonic zero — say, for 300 AAC Blackout — while the magnified optic stays dialed for supersonic work, letting you switch between the two by rotating rather than re-zeroing.

Construction is billet 7075-T6 aluminum finished with MIL-STD Type III hardcoat anodize in Reptilia’s black. That anodize spec is a hard, wear-resistant surface treatment rather than a painted or cerakoted finish, which matters for a part that sees regular installation and removal. Weight is 4 ounces and overall length is 4.5 inches, keeping the package compact on an already-loaded rifle. The ACRO or MPS optic is not included; this is the mount only.
