Description
The Reptilia ROF-90 is built for shooters running a 35mm magnified optic — specifically those mounted in a Reptilia AUS or Geissele Super Precision ring — who need a fast, reliable path to a non-magnified red dot without breaking their firing position. The mount orients a compatible optic at 90 degrees to the bore, so transitioning from distance shooting to close-quarters work is a matter of rolling the rifle rather than reaching for a separate weapon or working a magnification lever under stress.
The optic plate on this variant is cut for the Aimpoint ACRO footprint, which uses a fully enclosed emitter design and a proprietary mounting pattern distinct from the more common Aimpoint Micro or RMR standards. Machined from billet 7075-T6 aluminum and finished in MIL-STD Type III hardcoat anodize in Flat Dark Earth, the mount is built to handle the repeated lateral stress that comes with a canted configuration. The hard anodize also keeps the finish consistent with other FDE-finished components in a matched kit.
Because the ROF-90 keeps the primary magnified optic in place and zeroed, it suits setups where the shooter needs to switch between supersonic and subsonic ammunition — zeroing the offset sight for one load while the primary handles the other — without swapping glass or adjusting turrets in the field. The mount ships ready to install with no additional hardware required beyond the compatible host ring.
